Nearly 90% of our workforce currently qualifies for a hybrid work schedule, working three days in the office and two days remotely. Full time Great West employees work a 37.5 hour work week.
Vacation accrual is based on length of service.
Great West provides ten paid holidays. The paid holidays are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Christmas Day, and one floating day set by management.
Paid Leave of Absence benefits may be used for time away from work due to disability, pregnancy, to bond with a new baby or child, or to care for a family member with a serious health condition.
Employees are granted 1.5 days annually.
Employees accrue 60 hours of excused absence (EA) per year.
Employees may be granted up to three days’ paid leave upon the death of certain family members. Unpaid leave may be granted to attend the funeral of other relatives and/or close friends.
Employees have paid leave when called for jury or witness duty.
Great West has a private area for nursing mothers to express milk.
Our Travel Assistance program can help employees with many unexpected issues that could arise while traveling 100 or more miles from home or internationally.
